Welcome to 2nd Generation, Ipswich
We’re excited to introduce a fast-growing new Chapter of Rotary here in Ipswich. We’re called 2nd Generation Rotary, and we are a dynamic group dedicated to making a positive impact locally and globally.
Rotary has a proud tradition of bringing together dedicated individuals who share a passion for serving others, and we’re inviting you to be part of this exciting new journey.
Our members’ age range is vast, with a growing core of junior members and seniors all mixing and getting along. We do a host of fun events and really make the most from our monthly meeting.
What is Rotary?
It means joining a diverse network of people committed to helping their community and having fun while doing it.
2nd Generation Rotary Club has the full support and backing of the existing Rotary groups in the town, but we wanted to offer something different.
We are men and women of all ages, backgrounds, and professions who connect and work together on meaningful service projects in the community.
In doing this, we build lasting friendships as we work towards making Ipswich an even better place to live.
We are looking to bring Rotary into a new age and to attract new people.
Why Join?
We focus on primarily being a social group giving people the opportunity to make new friends irrespective of your background. However as a Rotary group we do other things such as:
Engage in Hands-On Service
Whether it’s supporting local schools, improving public spaces, or addressing social challenges, you’ll have the chance to make a tangible impact.

Our group is built on fellowship and mutual support. Our club will provide a chance to meet people, form genuine friendships, and collaborate with others.

Rotary members have access to a variety of learning and professional development opportunities. You’ll gain valuable skills in leadership, public speaking, project management and more, all while working alongside dedicated and passionate peers.

December Event
For our December event, we are meeting at the Ipswich and District Indoor Bowling Club (our normal home).
Welcome to our Christmas Dinner!
Date: Monday (not our normal day), 1st of December 2025.
Times: 6.45 pm arrival for a 7 pm start.
Location: Ipswich and District Indoor Bowling Club.
Cost: £26 (for a fantastic dinner), + pay for your own drinks.
